Custom Curtains and Drapery: Due to their custom specifications, custom curtains and drapery may not be returned. DrapeStyle guarantees all Custom Products against defects in material or workmanship. In the event of a defect, DrapeStyle will, at our discretion, repair or re-make the item at our expense.

Hardware: Custom Hardware or any hardware which has been cut to measure or altered may not be returned. Standard size hardware which has not been altered may be returned within 30-days of reciept and will be subject to a 25% re-stocking fee.

Woven Shades: Due to their custom specifications, Woven Shades may not be returned. DrapeStyle guarantees all Custom Products against defects in material or workmanship. In the event of a defect, DrapeStyle will, at our discretion, repair or re-make the item at our expense.

Shipping & Lead Time:

How we ship: At DrapeStyle we package each set of drapery in plastic which is heat sealed to protect the drapery and fabric in transit. All drapery is shipped via FedEx Home Delivery with a "Signature Required" upon delivery. Requiring a signature at delivery helps to protect drapery being left on doorsteps where they can be exposed to elements or theft.

Lead Time: 3-5 Weeks for in-stock fabrics. Our Customer Service Representatives will contact you if an extended lead time is expected.

DrapeStyle Only Uses 54" Wide Fabric: The foundation of a well-made custom drape is heavyweight (125g), high-quality 54" wide fabric. 54" fabric is more expensive than the 48" wide fabrics used to make "ready-mades" sold by chain stores and "online discounters", but Professional Designers who are concerned with quality would never recommend cheaper 48" wide fabrics.

Double Side Hems: One of the many reasons DrapeStyle uses 54" wide fabric is to make double side hems on each panel that leaves our Studio. Double side hems not only look better but, because we are doubling the amount of fabric on each edge, double side hems will add years of life to your drape. 

Double Bottom Hems: Another critical feature of quality drapes is a 4" Double Bottom Hem. Again, we double the amount of fabric at the bottom hem to add weight, fullness and a longer life.

DrapeStyle Only Uses Hanes Linings and Interlinings: Hanes is one of the oldest textile manufacturing firms in America and one of the few surviving. While Hanes is well known for their clothing fabrics, those in the Textile Industry know Hanes for their high-quality linings and interlinings. Designers insist on Hanes because they know that without a high quality lining or interlining the sun will fade and destroy any drape quickly. A high quality lining not only makes the drape look better and feel better but it is critical to ensuring your drapes will not fade or disintegrate from the sun.

5" Buckram Headings: The "heading" is the top of the drape. When DrapeStyle makes any drape with a pleated heading we always use a high quality 5" buckram material sewn into the pleat. This buckram material stiffens the fabric to avoid sagging and reenforces the fabric while opening and closing the drapes.

And our best quality feature, Our People. When you call DrapeStyle you’ll be speaking with a Professionally Trained Designer, not a sales person. Our Designers can help you determine the best fabrics, sizes and application for your project. We’ll even create a sketch for you if you need one.

And of course all of our products are 100% Guaranteed. If there is a problem with your drapes we’ll fix them or remake them. Should you ever need them hemmed or altered in the future we’ll do it free, for the life of the drapes.
